Awwwww! He is adorable. Yes, they have quirks. Mine get very upset and start pacing, staring and grumblimg if we don't go to bed at 11.

Be happy he just paws at the bowl. A dog we previously had used to pick up the bowl and throw it.

Was he a city dog before you got him? My daughter has two Cavs and she lived in a townhouse. Dogs were not allowed on the grass of the property. So she had to walk them on the road and pick up after them there. When she brings them here to play with mine, they pee and poop on our patio and deck, rather than in the grass.

He sounds like he is adjusting well.
