You are right. I think it's fairly common in small breeds. However, I will admit that I was a bit panicky when my Tyler had his episode. It lasted for several minutes which seemed like way too long to me. I nearly called the vet over it. Sophie seemed worried too. She kept nervously circling him, licking, and sniffing at his face. I think she was trying to help the little guy.
