Let me see your dog at 6, 8, 10, 12, and if you are blessed 14 or 16. By the way, coat genetics have more to do with a pretty coat than dog food. I could feed Teddy out of a dumpster and that coat would still grow to the floor in thresds of beautiful silk. On the other hand, Winston's cotton coat although pretty to look at, is best served by the clipper and a nice 1/4" blade comb. Similarly, poop "quality" is often a function of fiber content. It's not because of less corn or grains as people on YT sometimes say. Again I'll use my dogs...Teddy has hard small stools. Barney had normal but larger stools. Winston has rabbit sized pellets. These three boys eat the same food ingredients yet their stools represent different quality levels. They're all individuals... |

It's really cold here in Chicago this morning and we also got several inches of snow yesterday which leads to in the house pee pad pooing. I've picked up 3 poops this morning, all different dogs on the exact same food. If I did one of those pick an animal quizzes according to their poop sizes I would have guessed rabbit, German Shepard and Yorkie
