The number of animals they are killing compared to those being homed is staggering. I thought the Devore Animal Shelter here in CA was bad but this makes them look like angels. Their kill rate is about 50% but they try to find homes or rescue groups for the animals before they kill them. There is a huge number of homeless and abandoned animals in this area. |
