What wonderful news. I hope he will recover from his injuries and not suffer from post traumatic stress. A lot of people are unaware that even with a gate a dog or neighbor's dogs can easily dig a hole and drag a pup under, I know I was. When I brought Buster to visit my parents I was wary of the neighbor's dogs in back of my parents house. We were in the back yard and he wanted to investigate and say hi, luckily I had Buster on a leash and I never would have let him close but I was shocked when one of the dogs lunged at us a tried to dig under the fence. I quickly scooped Buster up and we went into the house. I know if one of those dogs had gotten a hold of Buster they would have dragged him under the chain link fence.
