Yes but even if your dog is vaccinated for rabies would you want them around a dog that could have it? Rabid animals kinda go crazy so say your dog comes into the rabid dogs space some how and bites your dog? Maybe it can't give your dog rabies but if it's a much bigger dog it could take one bite to kill your dog and with any dog bite your looking at your dog getting an infection which can lead to other things. The bite could even lead to emotional disorders. With humans I would want poof of rabies shots before even touching a dog incase it bit me because then it's painful shots in the stomach. In my opinion it's not smart or safe for either to not at least make sure the dog is current on rabies.
