Oh, Judy, how exciting for your vet tech! To get to show at Westminster!
Does anyone know what was wrong with the poor little Lundehund last night? Poor dog just looked wrong - not as much crazy frightened and shaking as just sort of spastic and weird, as if it had no idea what was going on! That's how Tibbe acted the day I brought him home for the first time and set him on the grass in the backyard after living his first 9 mos. of life in a cage - he was totally weirded out by everything, kind of crept awkwardly around, head low, not knowing what to expect but wanting to investigate. But you would expect a show dog at Westminster to show better unless it was sick or hurt.
Loved the exotic and fabulous Shih Tzu, fell in total love with Flame the black, classy, Standard Poodle, and oh, that little Billy, the Yorkie, was so adorable. Did you see him as the toys were entering into the arena during the close-up shots as they entered? He was looking right into the camera until his handler kind of jerked him forward? He stole my heart - such a face! And finally, a Yorkie placed in Group finals.
