Tibbe has definitely gotten a much thicker coat with age. He's a virtual hairball, who needs cutting frequently to keep him from getting masses of coat, especially around his neck ruff and body hair and his mustache. He's not got a silky coat but it's not really cottony either, though it tends to curl a bit; and while he's got gobs of it, thankfully, he never, ever mats.
