Puppy hair is very different than the adult coat. Your babies' coats should get fuller with age. It usually gets much easier to care for as the pup ages. Generally silky hair is finer than cotton coated Yorkies, and it's easier to maintain because it doesn't mat as much. My little girl has a silk coat, but her hair is very thick. I need to comb it in layers to get through all of the hair on her head. I love Yorkies of all sizes and coats. |
