I know how scared you are but try to think how great the odds are in Sully's favor that these surgeries are done by the dozens daily at vet clinics and hospitals without any problems at all. Try to just tell yourself this surgery will improve his comfort level and quality of life and concentrate on staying busy from the time you leave the vet's clinic, going to work, the gym, the mall or home - cleaning the house, doing laundry or shopping - whatever keeps your mind and body busiest. It's the loneliest drive in the world when you leave your furbaby for surgery and drive away and you will second guess yourself 40 times on the way - probably even cry - but hang in there, before too, too long you'll get the call that the surgery is over and Sully is waking up!!! Please post as soon as you know his surgery is over and let us know how he's doing as you can.
