Feeding twice a day.::: I have always feed 2 x's a day, regardless of their age. If you feed 1 cup of food, split that in 1/2, 1/2 cup in the morning, the other half in evening. Have a set feeding schedule for both meals, must be same time in the morning and evening, you MUST be consistent with the feeding schedule. Walk 20 to 30 minutes after eating, even if she has already peed or pooped, still walk her. Dogs are creatures of habit. They have built in clocks, she will learn what time she eats, what time she gets walked. Praise and give treats when she gets it right. This is a 14 month old pup that will need a lot of patience and CONSISTENCY. I never kennel / crate trained any of my pups, so I have no suggestions / advise on that. Hopefully other members can offer up suggestions / advise on her using her kennel as her potty. Also THANK YOU for rescuing this little girl.
