I would schedule the xray just a tad later...like day 58-59...that puts you closer to due date and you will not have as many days left for those babies to grow....so you are going to be pretty darn close to actual size you will be dealing with as far as passing thru the pelvic ring....maidens usually deliver later than the due date, so dont be concerned if you hit day 63-65 and still have no babies yet! Make sure the vet MEASURES the head/pelvic ring ratio to be sure you will not have a puppy stuck in the birth canal. If you do the xray on day 58, and it looks like it is going to be a tight fit, remembering those babies still have almost a week to grow, I would go ahead and schedule a section.....Day 60, they are mature and developed enough to safely deliver.
