Honestly, I'd go back to feeding what you were feeding before the paw chewing started -- to really see if it's the new food or not. Granted, Ceasers is not a great food - but if there was no paw chewing then, it'd be fine to try it again for 6 weeks and see what happens. If the paw chewing disappears, then you know something for sure.

I wouldn't switch to just another protein source w/in the same brand bc they will use very similar ingredients overall within the brand...so it is very possible you won't get anything out of switching.
