I am waiting to hear from Dayswalters to let me know any information she has about adoption fee, etc....this fee thing was her idea, and I glommed onto it because I personally have no idea what avenues can be taken to facilitate this pup finding a compassionate, understanding home.....

Joan, I know so well exactly how you felt about your precious little senior....it completely breaks your heart to see them get lost under furniture and stuck in corners....I have "pets" that run all over my house and share my bed....they run the house, determining everything but what tv shows we watch! This babies are treasures that are now seniors themselves....and as I lose them, one at a time, it just kills me......the more senior I become, the less I am able to tolerate the pain of losing these darlings.....it hurts more and it hurts longer....unfortunately, as a consequence, my babies are catered to and they have ME jumping thru hoops, to see that their senior years are the best they can possibly be. I do not ever want to lay awake at night, guilty over what I did or did not do, to make myself worthy of the unconditional devotion and loyalty of this pak of mine.

Then, soon, I will be facing the same challenges with my breeders as they become seniors.....
