That's why I find it to be so weird. He's NEVER shown any sign of pain, discomfort, or chewing on his nails/paw. And when I checked last night, color, length, strength, they all looked normal.

When I found his nail the previous time was.. maybe 1-2 years ago. Same thing. I didn't think anything of it and no problem...

The bad thing is that I "researched" too much and now paranoid it might be something horrible like a tumor... I made an appt this Sunday b/c the vet I liked was working that day so I'll keep you guys posted.
