This isn't the most attractive nook in our house since it houses my painting area, but nonetheless I'm kinda liking the new painting desk I made yesterday. It only cost about $110 too! I used 2 trestle legs from Ikea (height adjustable, awesome!) (also, easy to put together, btw!) and then I had Home Depot cut down an MDF board for the top of it.
Do you think I should stain it or do you just like it natural? Keep in mind there will eventually be paint all over the top of it...so the top will end up looking crappy/messy no matter what.
This area is the nook off of our kitchen, btw. Luckily we have a formal dining room too so we still have somewhere to eat!
