I have thought about this too! I definitely see the positive side of it (especially after some stories from here). I would want to be able to find and recover my little guy if something ever were to happen to him (heaven forbid).

Where do you need to register your number at? Every local vet, animal shelter, rescue, etc.

The thought I hate is what if it moves around, not staying where is should? Can this happen? You hear about odd cases of things like this happen to humans, implanted things moving around. - hey, you never know!

Oh that is scary!!! I hate the thought of humans one day having this done too - okay, too many science fiction and scary government stories/movies!!! hee,hee
