| I'm so sorry for your loss -- was the dog microchipped?
I have a suggestion that I haven't seen posted previously: I would write a letter to the new owner in Texas and I would take it to the pound/Humane Society that sold your dog and ask them to mail it to the new owner. Put your letter in a stamped envelope, be sure your return address and phone number is on the inside in your letter and give the unsealed envelope to them and ask them to mail it to the new owner. Hopefully, the pound will do this -- this will allow them to maintain the confidentiality and hopefully be a win-win for everyone.
Again, sorry for your loss. |
