I would MUCH rather be included in the group that recommended you vet a dog that is sneezing blood and has blood in his mouth, than reassure you that "its OK, no need to panic, he will be fine"....and then during the night, he bleeds to death. I can only imagine what would be said about "those crazy fools on YT that gave the wrong advice and because I trusted them, my baby bled to death!"
If I had known you had so much experience with raising and caring for dogs, I would have presumed you knew what you were looking at, and you could see it was no emergency....that is just one of the problems we have on this forum....all we can go by is what a poster comes on here and says....and if they are in a panic, or concerned about their pup who is bleeding enough from ??? lungs??? throat??? tongue??? gums??? to be sneezing blood, we will usually err on the side of caution....rather safe than sorry.....
We do very frequently, give tips and advice and suggestions on different conditions people are experiencing with their pups. I am sure we only tell people to vet their dog, if it is a situation or issue that WE would take our own dogs to a vet to be seen. Some of us have been around dogs all our lives....I do not ever remember NOT having at least one dog! With that experience, I would clearly know if bleeding from the mouth, or sneezing blood was in amounts enough to warrant a vet visit, without even asking for advice on a pet forum.
I do have to admit, I have fed my dogs RC kibble for over 35 years, and before that, my dogs always ate dry dog food. I have never had one "scratch their throat" on kibble to the point they experienced bleeding from the throat or sneezed blood!! I do hope you have diagnosed your baby correctly and he is doing just fine! Hopefully, he didnt aspirate any kibble into his trachea, into his lung, which caused the bleeding, and could be setting up an infection in his lung.....but I doubt that is what actually happened.....what would the odds of THAT be???!!!!
