This was what we gathered about Lepto and puppy vaccines:
The OTC vacs have a 5way and a 6way they reccomend for small breed dogs and the bordatella is seperate. The 5 and 6 do not include lepto and my understanding (dr Pete Is the vet that told me this) is that a few years ago (didn't inquire as to which year) there was a strain of lepto included in the standard vaccine route that incited many poor reactions and most especially in small dogs and that because of that the OTC market quit including lepto in their puppy shots and small breed shots. He told me though that te veterinary offices in particular, since they go through their vaccines rapidly, have the most updated versions and that they have re formulated safe lepto vaccines that are appropriate even for small dogs. Also that in our area it is wise to vaccinate for lepto.
That said, when miss lilah got her baby vaccines, we did not get OTC vacs we went to our vet, we seperated them out over time and had the Benadryl injection beforehand. One of her parents had had a reaction to the bordatella vaccine and her breeder did not reccomend that she get it but of course lilah couldn't do anything without it (go to the groomers, dog parks or dog daycare) so we proceeded but with great caution under veterinary supervision. Lilah received her lepto also.
Additionally they are vaccinating for corona (at least in my area) because after having that one 'fall out of favor' for some time, they decided that some cases of dog deaths that had been identified as parvo may actually have been corona or that the dog may have been treatable had thy not had the additional presence of corona.
Good luck with your puppy!
