You made me think of when I taught Teddy how to shake hands -- perfect example of smart and stubborn boy. He knew exactly what I wanted, always watched Max do it, but it was clear that he thought it was pointless and didn't want to do it. I swear he rolled his eyes at me before he relented MONTHS later and gave me his paw to shake.
