When my kids were little I had a Yorkie. I got her in North Dakota, but she hated the cold and snow. I got her a sweater and she ran to the furthest part of the yard and shook it off. I tramped through the snow to get it. Next time she did the same thing, so I quit putting it on her. LOL I would let her out the back door and if I didn't watch her, she would turn around real fast and stick her head in the door with her other end hanging outside and potty on the deck. Haha!
