About fleas, he is too young and small to use any form of flea treatment or flea shampoo, but you can bathe him and use Dawn dishwashing soap, lather up well and leave on 5 minutes then rinse thoroughly.

Fleas multiply so quickly, and if he happens to eat one he may get tapeworms which are easily treatable with a pill from the vet (not over counter kind).

Make sure he's drinking water so he doesn't get dehydrated.

Shots and dewormer may be a cause of his loss of appetite too, but he absolutely must eat, so keep trying. Get him through the first phase here then we will guide you to better quality foods later.

Good luck..... don't mean to scare you, but you are wise to be concerned with this little one. Keep us updated, and keep the vet's phone number handy in case things start going downhill.
