Hmm. If i didnt rub it between my fingers first, it would leave little globs on the paw hair. If it wasnt worked in well, there would be little paw prints on my wood floor from it.
Maybe it gets harder as it gets older. That little jar easily lasted me 3-4 years.
Mushers secret was what i was looking for when i stopped at the grooming salon. But they didnt have it, and had jars of pawmagik sitting by the muttluk winter boots they sold. The owner recommended it, so i bought it. Im happy ith it so far, but ZoE is not an outdoor potty dog, so she only goes out to play in our backyard and we go for an occasional walk on a local walking trail. Last winter was brutal in .michigan. Lots of snow and lots of ice, so lots of paw drying salt everywhere.
