I have the purple canister one too and heck if a baby sock gets in my way I will suck it up and keep on moving
and that thing never gives me any issues... The only problem was the price tag other then that it has been great!!
We rent the house we live in and even after steam cleaning the carpets and all always thought the carpet was one color after getting the animal and using it a couple times we found out the carpet is actually a completely different color... Which is rather gross to think about lol
