I forgot before, if you want a stand mixer but the price is holding you back, sunbeam mixers are good. My grandmom bought one after her ancient kitchaid died (said she's too old to invest in another kitchenaid
) and she doesn't have any problems with it. She's had it about 7 years. It's also lighter than the kitchenaid.

The enamel blade with the rubber edge is great for everything. Cookies, cakes, egg mixtures....it reaches the edge better so that not as much of the mix is left on the sides of the bowl.

I used it to make cookies today, it really does work better. I'm very glad I used my kohls cash on it.
