It it her heart pressing on the trachea. How can she not tell what it is? Is it a narrowing of the trachea due to collapse trachea which is very common in Yorkies. It usually shows up at that age. Have you ever noticed her cough in the past like after playing hard or drinking or eating? I had a maltese that had a narrow trachea due to her heart was enlarged and pressed on the trachea causing her to cough. I would want to get to the bottom of what was pressing on the trachea.
