 Coughing for 3 weeks!! Help!
My 7 year old Yorker female started coughing about 3 weeks ago. It sounded like kennel cough (yes I googled and you tubed) I took her to the vet and was given antibiotics and cough medicine. The cough medicine didn't work so I took her back for an X-ray and blood work. The X-ray showed something pushing on her trachea but the vet wasn't sure what it was. Blood work showed a slight infection and no valley fever. I was told to continue the antibiotics, which I have, but it's been almost 3 weeks and the poor thing still is coughing! (Better some days than others) I am taking her back Monday but would love to have Any feed back from anyone who has gone though this.
Also any thoughts on yucca extract or colloidal silver?
Ps she is eating, drinking and acting normal, maybe a little less barking |
