My puppy Reese (16 weeks) used to get car sick every single time we got in the car. I started giving him Benadryl when we would go in the car, but over the past 2 weeks he has completely stopped and I don't need it anymore. I honestly think that the car ride was so foreign to him that it would make him sick with anxiety. I also take him to my BF's house which is a 30 min ride and I take him to puppy play time on Saturday's at Petco for an hour.

We just started getting the rhythm of housebreaking over this past week, which includes me taking him out every 2 hours (over the weekend) because I know he will have to pee. The pee pads were driving me NUTS with the smell, I couldn't take them anymore. I even bought one of those real patches of grass which he determined he would rather eat than use for the potty. Have you figured out when your puppy usually goes to the bathroom? I know that Reese poops at 5:30AM when I take him out, 11:00 when I take him out during my lunch break from work, and then 7:30 or 8PM. If I take him out before 7:30, he won't poop. I also started putting him in the crate when I leave for short periods of time since I know he won't pee in there. He's in an expen when I'm at work. The peeing was the biggest problem for me, but now I think I'm getting the hang of it. This is my first puppy/dog which I'm doing on my own and the learning curve is huge!
