I was thinking the same thing. If the pup is eating and not over exercising, then it should not be having hypoglycemia. Some of the symptoms of hypoglycemia, such as lethargy, walking wobbly, sleeping too much, are also symptoms of liver shunt. Failure to gain weight is also a problem to be addressed.

I too would ask for a bile acid test, although if the pup is really having hypoglycemia the 12 hr fasting would not be good.

What is the actual weight of the pup at 5 months?
