So glad Kimchi is on the fast track to recovery and almost back to being her spunky self again! I understand your worry. I too felt so guilty/bad when I picked Periwinkle up from the vet after her spay at 7 months old. She did not stay overnight so was super groggy upon pick up, which was very very sad to see since she is such an alert and in-your-face puppy. Peri wasn't able to make any barking sounds (maybe caused by the tube down her throat during the procedure?) for the next day or so. Gosh, I was a wreck! The vet actually gave me Peri's baby teeth in a vial for a keepsake, which sentimental me still has. Sending happy thoughts to you and Kimchi for a speedy recovery!
