I certainly will be glad to have this behind me. I'm so praying that I would never have to put her in a similar situation again X_x; She looked so traumatized (thus the "hot mess") when i picked her up this morning that I almost felt like crying cause she had that certain "look" in her eyes briefly when they brought her out and she was shivering badly (she's never been away from home without any familiar faces and only been home completely alone without the other dogs or anyone just once for 30 minutes and she was crying at me when we came home). She seemed to recover very fast once she realized I was back to take her home. So far she's doing good. A bit leery, but good. As soon as she recovers well enough I plan to make it up to her. Take her to the park or someplace enjoyable, like her groomers (she loves and get excited to see/be at her groomers, I even plan to see if they'll do something extra special for her, I don't mind the extra cost. In the case of walks, I need exercise, too X_x). She means so much to me, I had lost my past yorkies several years back and around the same afterwards, one of my closest friends passed away as well, her being with me is almost a miracle in itself, especially the circumstance (another originally wanted her and she was born on my birthday). Meh, getting a bit melodrama, myself, lol >_<
Either way, I will just be happy for her to recover. I must admit there were many times before the spay that I've wondered if I should just forget it and let her be (she's is a very sensitive yorkie). But then I remember reports of yorkies being one of the highest ranked in theft and so on, and I think to myself this may be the only way I can protect her in the case if she's taken from me other than death. ..Ugh this sounds so depressing x_x well, anywhoo, I'm am thankful for your words of encouragement.
