Yorkshire Terriers are long hair breeds (some longer than others or thicker depending on coat type ie soft or silky as per breed standard). Therefore, the short hair you see on that pic is as a result of a cut and not the coat type.






I have pics on my profile of my yorkie with various coat lengths. You will note the shortest length is titled "after the groomers". Hope this has answered your question!
