No question is ever stupid. You are with him 24/7 your BF friends who does not like dogs comes over, someone your pup does not see 24/7, now this guy ignores the pup, this is now a challenge to your pup, win this guy over. Yorkies for the most part want, need and at times demand attention. So now your baby follows this guy around the house, like to say to him "hey look at me, I am here", the more this guy ignores your baby the more determined the pup will be win him over. Never feel bad when ppl come over and your baby is all excited to see them, he loves you, but he sees you all the time. Yorkies are people dogs, he's going to be all excited to see ppl he does't see all the time. He is just a little baby in a big world, with new things coming into his life almost everyday. All he wants from this guy is attention, the more this guy ignores your baby, the more your baby will want this fellow. Never feel your Yorkie prefers someone else over you. As they get older they change, give the baby time to grow, he is your dog and always will be.Try extra treats when this fellow comes over, when your pup cries when this guy leaves the room, hold your baby, give him a treat. It would break my heart if someone ignored my boy and my baby would cry for them. I would show him extra love and attention.
