My pup had a couple spots like this when I got her. You will need to take her to the vet and if it is an infection, like it sounds like, she will need antibiotics. Especially if she is biting at it, like my Lexi did, it will only make the spot worse.

Wanted to add that it's called pyoderma if you want to look it up. Even if it's not pyoderma, you still need at have it looked at by a vet because it could be a number of things.
