It seems that with six kids around, Decorating a tree at our house is an organic, living thing that grows and changes until it is over- especially since four of them are little boys! Lol-
we make most of our ornaments and in particular my special needs six year old just can't keep his hands off of them! Cranberries dry and popcorn breaks off, paper chains rip and cloven mandarins just don't seem to preserve for us (maybe repeated pokes by emphatic children?..) so all tht said- I didn't actually take a picture of the tree!
ha ha ha, one day perhaps I will have the silver and gold matching decor (I think it is beautiful) and be able to display finely crafted glass ornaments - I adore those treasures and truly miss them- but for now it is the moments that I have, and they tend to be rather lively! I did happen to take a few pictures of those...
