How long do you wait outside for your pup to go potty outdoors? I am just curious...and I know every dog is different! I know with maggie, just because she runs up to the door it does not mean she doesn't have to go
I usually wait outside with her for about 5 minutes (saying go potty) and then if she still hasnt gone, we go back in...wondering if I need to give her more time. Also, if your dog just goes #1 or just goes #2, do wait for them to do the other? Maggie doesn't usually do both in the same trip outside, but again, maybe I am not giving her enough time. And, again, I know every dog is different. I ask because we have had a few indoor accidents and wonder if I am maybe rushing her outside. Thanks!
