Well, it is up and sparkling! We drove up the mountain and got our Christmas tree today, listening to Christmas music and pointing out every icicle and frozen waterfall along the way. Thanksgiving was pretty great at our house this year and I even
participated (a little bit) in Black Friday and enjoyed a trip to jo ann fabrics- it was super fun! One of my sons and one of my daughters went fishing with their grandpa so we had beautiful rainbow trout for dinner tonight that my kids caught (yay kids!) and then stayed up stringing cranberries and popcorn for the tree and making paper snowflakes. We had such a nice time- lol, and yes all while enjoying various Christmas music (it was mostly Irish instrumental during the evening).

what kind of traditions does your family participate in? Do you get a tree (or set one up) and if so- is it up yet? Another highlight of my weekend is that the holiday card exchange list was sent! It officially feels like the holidays to me
