We have to remember that this precious little one has only been alive for *5 weeks*. And dogs aren't born potty-trained in any way, shape, or form - so it's up to us to communicate with them and teach them. At this very, very young age...I wouldn't really even be expecting any successful training at this point...she still needs to mature quite a bit. We also have to remember that, to her, going potty isn't unclean, it's just simply going potty bc her instinct says she has to go, so she does.
I know the pee grosses you out, but also remember that urine is actually sterile, so it's really just a sterile fluid that comes from the body -- it's really not that unclean, in other words. Not to imply I want some sterile urine everywhere, lol, but I'm saying this just to ease your mind a bit in terms of the cleanliness.
