PETA, other animal rights groups... would be my guess. Be careful about who you donate money to or offer any support.

I'd have to at least google different facets of the situation to get a better understanding of "WHO". Public opinion is being formed by very small groups of people today. Social media, internet.... influences the nightly news in a huge way now.

example: WA and CO legalized dope smoking, does that mean that half of WA voters smoke dope? No, it doesn't. It means the dope smokers, a very small group, and the ones who anticipate making money from dope smokers convinced the voters to vote in favor of it. This occurred at the same time or shortly after cigarette smokers have been ostracized for their oral or inhalation preferences. That...just doesn't make any sense to me as the 2 issues, cigarettes and dope, are connected.. They burn it, inhale it, it's going to cause problems in some people. One is frowned upon, one is praised in some instances by the same person.
