My baby, Tink was diagnosed with pancreatitis about 2 years ago. She is 10 now, soon to be 11 in Feb. Since then, she would have random little flare-ups, where she would be uncomfortable, and vomit repeatedly, usually yellow bile. I would take her into the vet, they would administer fluids, and we would go home. Instead of treating the random flare-ups, my vet decided to put her on a prescription diet of Royal Canin low fat gastrointestinal food. Since then, I have not noticed any pancreatitis flare-ups. If she vomits now, it's usually just once, and it is just undigested food (this is an issue we are currently working on, but my vet doesn't seem too concerned). I hope this helps, I think that as long as it is managed well, and they are on a strict diet, with NO fatty foods, treats, etc.
Praying for your baby's health!
