Food makes a difference. It is hard to say what you can do to make him eat. You can get some samples of different foods to see what he likes. Or you can just put the food down and leave it in hopes that he will eventually eat it when he gets hungry enough. The big concern is hypoglycemia if he doesn't eat and drink regularly like he should. You should also transition him slowly to the new food, mixing the old and the new. Put a little of the new in with the old, and then over time decrease the old food and increase the new food until fully transitioned.
