I believe that nutrition makes a difference. There are some quality foods out there. Check out the nutrition section of the forum to see what options you have.

I have fed mid-high end foods and the better quality of the food the differences in my pets include, healthier teeth, nice coat, smaller, firmer, less frequent stools.

I feed Nutri Source Grain Free (Chicken Formula) this is what Emma was sent home with and I mean I love this food. Because she's a yorkie, the 5lb bag costs me about $17 but I only have to buy every 2.5-3 months.
