So basically I will be training the both of them at the same time. Zoey and I had an understanding. I won't say that my last cat was trained as she was trained not to at least do it in front of me. . It just so much to consider plus I had planned on doing much more traveling and most of the places I am going too I can take Dutch with me but now I will have to considered the cat when making my travel plans. This is why I am so torn. And I also kinda of wanted a break from cleaning litter boxes. I've have been shoveling cat crap for 15 years!!!! But that is minor but still I have to so much take into consideration. |
Such a dilemma for you.
I agree with Taylor, and yet, of course, I fully see where you're coming from....
When we had Rosie our Labrador, we also had 4 cats. 2 in particular absolutely adored Rosie, curled up with her, twined themselves round her legs etc...the other 2 just put up with her. But they really all got on so well.
We used to take Rosie EVERYWHERE with us, but of course there was no way we could cart 4 cats around as well
For that reason, I enlisted the help of a neighbour, who would come in twice a day (at least - she loved our house!!). She was so happy to help - we would either pay her, or bring her back a lovely present from wherever we had been, whichever she preferred.
As for the cat-crap-shovelling....I taught them to 'go outside' during the day - but never, of course, in our neighbours gardens....
Good luck, such a difficult decision
