I realize this, but, if she shows she is willing to let this person keep her dog for a few days, they may feel she doesn't love her dog very much, she has to be more aggressive in getting her pup back. I know in Asia dogs have little to no rights, put dogs are still property, and someone has her property, she has to be encouraged to get her valuable property, if she agrees to let this person / people keep her dog for a few days, this could be taken as a sign she does not consider her property valuable, and can loose it completely.
