How UTTERLY thoughtless and coldblooded of those people and how UTTERLY sickening is their total lack of concern for your angst, your pain of loss, missing your dog, needing him and your empty arms! No way would I sit still for that. I'd have police or a private eye going after my dog and I'd be right behind him! I'd call the police first and ask them if they can help you retrieve your dog from these weirdo's before they come up with a ransom demand or decide it's just not your dog, if you get my meaning. Tell them you felt coerced to agree to their one-sided terms to let them keep him out of fear for what they'd do - after all, they have your dog!
