yes a lot of ppl do this thinking if a pedigree is found, it will be kept by the finder, they never think the poor thing could starve to death or get brutally killed by another animal. How tragic for you this poor dog was killed in your yard and you had to see it,for me it would be a sight I could not soon forget.
