Dogs that do not want to poo when you take them outside will respond well if you take them for a good brisk walk. The exercise gets the body systems working and the dog will naturally do the duty. This works well for peeing as well. Once they get moving they really cannot hold back what has to be released.

For people who cannot walk their pets for some reason you might try a game of indoor fetch to get things moving. It may not work as quickly but it is worth a try.
