Teddy, up until about six months, had a strong aversion to peeing on his pad if there was poo on it at the same time. Due to this, I had to be EXTRA vigilant in making sure his pad was clean and I also made him go on the pad when there was poo on it so that he understood that it wouldn't bit him..lol


He, of course, got a ton of treats and praise and he doesn't seem to have a problem with going now even if he's poo'd in the night when, obviously, I am asleep so can't clean it up for him.


I know that my mom's Yorkie is very adverse to using a pad once it has been used, too.


Maybe that is the problem?
