You yt people never cease to amaze me with your caring responses. Thankful that our OP found this group and was able to learn this information before making that long trip. Also thankful that sweet little puppy will have no choice but to stay with the breeder until at least 12 weeks. I know the emotional connections we can make to dogs and puppies based on their pictures when we are freshly grieving the loss of our beloved babies. I have done it myself. Even though I completely understand and empathize I hope you will do everything in your power to thoroughly research this breeder as it is my understanding that the best quality breeders would never let a puppy go until 12 weeks. And in the end, isn't that what we all want? The best for our new babies who will become a part of our family.
